October, 2005 – Barkers Island

In October of 2005 we spent a couple of weekends as transients at Barkers Island. Duluth/Superior is an excellent place to visit from Knife River as it is relatively close, generally has docking space available and has a restaurant nearby.
We even got an opportunity to see some friends in the sailing community.
